Hermoine Macura - WOW Creative Director

Hermoine Macura is the first Australian female English speaking TV News Anchor in the Middle East, and also one of the area's most recognized faces. Prior to establishing STRAIGHT STREET MEDIA in 2012, Hermoine was one of the main Anchors on Dubai One TV's Emirates News. Her portfolio includes the delivery of live-to-air news bulletins, frequently whilst being in the midst of breaking stories both locally and across the Middle East. Hermoine has also hosted a variety of other shows including the three hour live launch of the Burj Khalifa and Maak Ya Lebanon: which featured exclusive interviews with several key players in aid programs in Lebanon. The program was a part of a series that raised 55 Million Dirhams to help people caught in the conflict. Hermoine has also interviewed a variety of decision makers, from the Duchess of York to Hollywood Actor Michael Douglas and government officials in the country. Her book, FACES OF THE MIDDLE EAST, was published in 2010 and is available across the Middle East, UK and USA.

A familiar face to Australian audiences as the host of the ABC’s local news bulletin, Gloria is the main correspondent and global manager at Straight Street Media. With over a decades experience which spans across Australia and Asia, Gloria has covered a range of topics including politics, national and international affairs, religion and social issues. Gloria is a graduate from the University of Wollongong Australia.

Karen is known for her benchmark standards for major events and corporate sponsorship in Australia, Indonesia and the Middle East – where she has successfully worked with corporate sponsors to successfully raise funds totaling over three million dollars, A trusted partner of brands such as HSBC, Cadbury, Austrade and Paspaley Pearls, Karen has led major sponsorship campaigns globally with leading brands such as the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Audi ME, du, Emirates Airlines, Meat & Livestock Australia, First Pacific Davis Jakarta and the West Australian Department of Transport. Karen also managed the Hobart Cup Racing Week where she raised over one million Australian dollars in sponsorship through Federal Hotels.


Peggys Elliott Goldwyn - Global Developer

Peggys began her career in documentary film, then broke ground as the youngest female situation comedy writer when she became one of the original writers of “That Girl”. She went on to write multiple episodes of many comedies, including “Love, American, Style” and “Happy Days” - receiving an award from The Writers’ Guild of America for one of the 100 best comedy scripts on television for an episode of “The Odd Couple.” She has also written feature films and television movies over the years as well.


Madelyn Brass - Senior Graphic Designer

Graphic artist, print-maker and designer Madelyn Brass is known for her unique and persuasive up-beat style of digital communication. As the senior graphic designer at WOW, Madelyn specializes in the fields of corporate identity design, web design, print design and branding. Madelyn’s unique style can be seen across various SSM products including the branding and development of the World of Women Fair UAE, Women in Business Forum, EGA Information for You magazine and several other corporate identity projects for the UAE government. Born in California, USA, Madelyn studied at the prestigious Academy of Art University completing a degree in Graphic Design.


Saoirse Duchemin - Graphic Designer

Graphic Designer Saoirse joined the WOW team because she strongly believes in platforms whereby women can encourage and empower one another to fulfill their dreams. As a graphic designer at World Of Women, Saoirse constantly has her finger on the pulse when it comes to forecasting trends and innovative design. As a graduate of Nottingham Trent University, in the UK – Saoirse was awarded a first Class honors for her independent research into the ‘Future of Shopping’ which focused on meeting the needs of female clothing consumers, innovating the current retail models of delivering customized shopping.
